The group began with a solitary unit making high-quality cotton knitwear. The history we are proud of

1987

The founder Mr. Shanmugam’s exploration as an Intern was the first start, for him the ‘’dream comes true’’ was on the base of vision on starting a sewing outfit for the knitwear supplied elsewhere in the globe, where then was a choice for all the young aspirants on this part of ‘’Tirupur’’ – a global domain for the ‘’Knit Apparels’’…He took footsteps directly into the business after the successful exit of his schooling…
1989

Now the turn of vision into reality – with the trusted Partnership ‘’ Journey started’’ as ‘’PREEMIER GARMENTS’’ with a capacity of 70 machines-which then was the MERCHANT model based on the Quota scheme…location was the core manufacturing zone ‘’kumar Nagar-Tirupur’’
2004

After the half decade of partnership manufacturing, when the stretch of pecuniary liberalization started across the states of INDIA and the end of quota scheme again made the vision of founder wider, the natal of current business was set on the base of sole proprietorship and there was installed the foundation ‘’PREMIER KNITS APPAREL INDIA’’ with the complete recognition as an export house, around 400 sewing machines were throttled on its fullest ‘’RPM’’…on the new populated premises at ‘’Angeripalayam – Tirupur’’
2010

Here horizon of the business was broad… compliance, verticality, lean and state of art facilities within sole premises were the expectation of the Customers’- to have an high command over the quality and the deliveries’…now the colossal capacity with almost all the state of art facilities over manufacturing -‘’PREMIER KNITS APPAREL INDIA’’ was set on the outskirts of Tirupur ,Virumandampalayam-Chengapalli – just adjacent to the highway connecting ‘’INDIA’’ from North to south… here started the manufacturing USP ‘’Preemies to Toddler then to Kids’ – ‘global market’ and one of the largest integrated Knitwear manufacturers in this part of knitwear manufacturing domain.
2021

The literature advocates ‘’limitation as restriction’’, but commercial growth identity would be termed as ‘’ limited-LTD’’…by then - ‘’PREMIER KNITS APPAREL INDIA’’ is - ‘’PREMIER KNITS APPAREL (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED’’, the start was to make it completely ‘’VERTICAL’’… The vision of verticality made PREMIER to move forward with rolling over the project of unique – ‘’FABRIC PROCESSING MILL’’, progression is rapid … by 2023 this evolution will be part of the journey…
